Just Breathe

I know "just breathe" is one of the dumbest things to say to someone, as they're having a panic attack, I get it. However, it's true.

Breathing is very good for you. You can go without food for about a month, and water for about a week. But, oxygen? Less than 5 minutes.

And, deep breathing? Any moment of anxiety gets slapped in the face when you engage in deep breathing.

In this interesting article, according to Andrea Watkins from urban balance, "did you know that deep breathing is one of our easiest, most convenient and natural tools to combat issued like stress and anxiety, reduce pain, high blood pressure and even aide in digestion?"

That's powerful stuff!

And to think, breathing is such a little thing. We do it everyday, all day, subconsciously.

Just try it for yourself! Stressed or not, go outside into the fresh air and take in deep, slow, breaths. It gives me a nice head rush and instantly lowers my blood pressure.

Ladies and gentlemen, remember to just breathe.
