I went fishing this morning, at my favorite lake. One of my favorite things to do is to wake up very early, while it's still dark, and go out the the lake, fishing for up to 5 hours.
I usually go for trout and bass, and use a "spinner" hook. Most of the time, I catch something. For some reason, I caught nothing today. I tried different bait, different hooks, and still nothing. I even decided "let's go for carp", and I couldn't even catch a carp!
But, you know what? I don't care. I love fishing. Whether I catch something or not, fishing to me is very peaceful and relaxing. It lets me be around water, around nature, and in my own thoughts. I escape the outside world, and enter my world. I love my world. And, the best thing about fishing, is it reminds me to never give up. I know there's fish, and I know I can catch them again, and again.
My point is, you need to find your fishing. An activity or hobby, that lets you leave the outside world, and enter your world. And, that same activity, needs to remind you to never quit - and even when you don't succeed, you learn from your experience, and are excited to try again and again.
